Recent Photos of the Week

Looking for an inspiring photo of the week? Look no further! Visit Mantimoon and have a look at Lottie Angell’s latest nature photography, sometimes combined with poetry to aid quiet reflection.

Perhaps each photo of the week can be used as a writing prompt? Alternatively, maybe you simply wish to reconnect with the natural world. Whatever your reason, enjoy a range of photos inspired by Lottie’s walks around Sussex/beyond and time spent in her garden.

I heart birds so much. We have so many different species coming in and out of our garden and nestling in by the pond, including – kingfishers, herons, geese, woodpeckers, blue tits, great tits, long tailed tits and many more. I think the one in flight is a Starling…don’t hold me to it, I’m still a bit of a novice when it comes to identifying birds!

A beautiful red admiral at rest…

I spent a happy period of time with this tree on a walk around Bramber Castle, West Sussex, not that long ago. Such a beauty, and the inspiration for my Haiku of the week
