Mantimoon Creative Writing as Therapy Workshop

During this mindful three hour workshop you will discover how to use creative writing as a mode of therapy.
Held in a warm and supportive atmosphere this workshop will give you the chance to see how combining meditation with poetry writing exercises can help break down mental blocks that might prevent your creativity from flourishing.
If you choose to share your work as part of this workshop this will be as a gift to the group and not open for constructive feedback, but rather, thanks and quiet reflection after sharing.

Mantimoon Short Story Writing Workshop

During this stimulating three hour short story writing workshop you will have the opportunity to learn all about the subtle art of the short story, including how to plot one.
Inspired by the work of well-known short story writers and writing exercises/prompts, you will leave the workshop with a plot for a new short story.
In addition, you’ll have the chance to craft the opening of your newly plotted short story and share this with the group if you’d like to. This will give you the opportunity to receive constructive feedback in a supportive environment to help develop your prose writing skills.
