The Hamblin Centre: Second blog post! July 2018

Hamblin Centre Garden in Summer

I’m very excited to let you know that my second blog post for The Hamblin Centre has gone live! If you haven’t read my ‘about’ page, this is where I carried out a creative writing residency in 2017/2018. The centre is a spiritual and educational charity dedicated to promoting peace and improving the health and wellbeing of its members and the surrounding community. I’d highly recommend visiting their beautiful gardens and attending one of their many inspirational classes and/or talks.

My second article is entitled Nature Writing, A Writer’s Responsibility and an Introduction to Erasure Poetry and delves into my experience attending The British Council’s Nature Writing Seminar and Writing Workshops in Germany back in June. I raise key environmental concerns and ask an all important question – what is a writer’s responsibility?

I will post here to let you know when the next one goes live in August.

Happy reading folks!
